What a great weekend! I was showered with homemade cards and crafts from the boys. They were both so sweet with the cute things they wrote. For example, Preston loves me because I give him hugs and tickle him, and even help him clean his room sometimes. Austin says he's loved me his whole life and always will. Lessons he learned from me... he wrote that I taught him how to swim, how to learn, and how to be respectful to his teacher- too cute! Jeff may have given me the sweetest card ever. He actually made his own this year and wrote me a page and half letter. It was very touching! He also planted all day after church Sunday in the front of the house. Last year he landscaped and my job was to plant the flowers; however, that never happened due to the fact that I didn't know what to plant. So, we went Saturday and just picked out a bunch of plants and we will see how it turns out. The platter is a gift to myself from the kids. I was making one for my mom and decided to make one for myself. I love it! Another fantastic mother's day!

more pics from april
Well where do I begin, it's been soo long! I'll start with Chloe... I forgot how fast your babies grow! I can't believe she is eating baby food already, she's discovered her toes and loves to suck on them and finally takes a pacifier which has made her so much happier. Actually, the last two months or more she has been a pretty happy baby especially compared to her first two when she was a bit colicky I guess. Her laugh is best. She is so ticklish everywhere. One day while just washing her hands she laughed. She loves to watch her brothers they are so entertaining to her! She grabs toys and puts them in her mouth now and is still trying to master rolling over she almost has it but her arm gets stuck. Honestly, she probably doesn't get enough time on the floor to practice, she's held alot and has the exersaucer and bumbo to play in. Not to mention the jumperoo which is a hoot to watch. I didn't have one of these with the boys, she just goes crazy in that thing, it's quite funny to watch her jump. She loves her cereal and tonight got green beans for the first time. At first she was ok with them but the more she had the more she didn't enjoy them.
Austin is doing great in school. He's so proud (and so are we of course) he wrote a poem with a friend at school and it was published in the Southeast Missourian Jr. He got to go to his first sleep over with friend from school (granted he's stayed the night with Parker but this was different) actually I know the boys mom from school but it was still hard for me to let him stay all night. I guess he's growing up and I'm not ready for him to. I can't believe he is almost eight years old.
Preston is sunshine on a rainy day. He makes me smile everyday, he's so stinkin cute and sweet. He got to visit my class for a field trip, his whole class came and toured the school, they got to see some kindergarten rooms and sit in the big desks, I read them a story and created activity books to give each child with a pencil and stickers. He loved it!
A few things we've been up to: bike rides and walks to the school playground, playing baseball in the backyard, and the boys have been creating gifts at creative ewe for mother's day. We've gone back twice for Austin to work on his. He's really put a lot of work into these projects.
That's it in a nut shell. I'm sure I'm leaving lots out- that why i like to blog more frequently- just haven't had the time!
