Did a month really just fly by?

I remember thinking March was going to be a long month without any extra days off after having three three day weekends in Feb. However, it absolutely flew by! Chloe and I did catch colds two weeks ago but we are past that and all is well at the LaFave's. Chloe is four months old! She really laughs now, last night Austin had her just a chuckling, it was precious! She does much better in the car now except when it's dark out! Last night after church and dinner we played junior cranium, the boys, especially Austin loved it! We take advantage of every warm day we get and go outside to play. Chloe likes to be outside except when it's too windy, it takes her breathe away. Our big news for the month is that we are going to DISNEY WORLD for vacation, I absolutely can't wait. Now, Preston tells me everyday to do the Disney world dance! Needless to say they are ecstatic about the trip, as well!

The leprechaun trap, well we didn't catch him this year. However, he did leave a note for the boys to try again next year and he turned the milk green as always which Preston wouldn't drink. And that silly leprechaun even left a magical changing color pudding in the frig! After reading the note, Austin said, I knew this trap was too little mom, I think it will take me two years to catch the leprechaun , why I asked, because I need to know how long, wide, and tall he is, Austin replied. And I guess he is going to figure that out next year somehow!

Everyday, I thank God for my three amazing children and a great husband. I feel so blessed to have two boys who have so much fun together, who bring so much joy and happiness in Jeff and I's lives everyday by the silly and sweet things they do and say. And now to have Chloe , our precious baby girl, our family feels so complete! We all have our not so good moments, but in the grand scheme of things our problems are so small compared to others. I guess what I'm trying to say is just remember how fortunate we are and thank God everyday for all the good in your life!

St. Louis Fun

Parent teacher conferences were this past week, so that meant I had to work late Tuesday and Thursday. Luckily, I was off Friday. This time of year we usually take a trip to St.louis and get a hotel and go a couple of places with the kids; yet, we're saving money for a summer vacation to Florida, hopefully! So, I decided to take the boys to St.Louis for the day for some much needed quality time. Since I've had Chloe that has been the hardest thing for me....making sure I spend enough quality time with each of the kids and my husband. Betty watched Chloe and the boys and i headed to the magic house and Chuck-e-cheese with my sister. Of course, we had to stop for Krispy Kreme donuts. The boys still think that is so neat to watch the donuts being made. It was such a good idea to go on Friday, I thought about waiting until Saturday so Jeff could come, but I"m glad we didn't. It wasn't very crowded at either place so it made the trip very enjoyable. We have not been to the magic house since they added the addition. It was lots of fun, as always. I treasure these moments spent with the kids! I can't wait until summer vacation- only three more months then I get to be with all three kids everyday!
