Last weekend was pretty relaxing. Friday Jeff was fixing a plumbing problem at my moms so Preston, Chloe, and I just hung out at the house (Austin was with Jeff). For Valentines, I was surprised with pink roses (my favorite color, of course) a box of chocolate, and a new towel robe that I had been wanting. Jeff and I were invited to go out to an elegant dinner with some other couples but we had to pass this year. We didn’t want to ask the grandma’s to watch the kids on Valentine’s since they already have Chloe throughout the week. However, we did ask them to watch the kids on Sunday so Jeff and I could celebrate. Jeff dropped the boys off with one grandma and I took Chloe to the other and we met up back at the house, it was like a date. We just hung out at the house and watched a movie. It was so fun to snuggle on the couch in complete quietness. It felt like we were teenagers on a date again. It was the best Valentine’s for sure, at least at this time in our lives, having a newborn and all. The amount of quality time spent between the two of us is definitely limited lately. Monday, I was off work for President’ day. The boys wanted to go to the mall to play games and go to Barnes and Nobel to read books; so, that’s what we did.

Chloe is 3 months old
I just can't believe it!
That easter bunny came while we were at church
and hid more eggs outside- how fun!
