So much to update.... I don't have time to update since school started. Everything has been going great and I have a wonderful class! The boys are back on routine and both seem to really enjoy their new teachers and new classrooms. We went to the cabin last weekend with the Fisher's which was nice to get away and relax after the first full week of school! Austin said he wished we could live there and Preston was very disappointed that we had to leave. They love the outdoors so much! Jeff would like to move in the country with some land some day. The boys would move tomorrow. I'm happy here but want the kids and Jeff to be happy, too- of course. We will see what the future holds. For now, Jeff has been busy painting Austin's new bedroom and Preston's bedroom. I think both rooms are going to look great. We still have to put up the sports border in Austin's room and today Jeff is finishing Preston's room. Hopefully, I will be able to find the baby a bedding set soon so we can get her room going. Tomorrow we will only be relaxing.. we will be going to the lake early and spending the day just having tons of fun! This week will be busy with soccer practice, cub scouts, two doctor appointments for myself, a PTO meeting, and who knows what else the week will hold. Hopefully, I will have time to post some pics later.

At the creek. Preston had to bring his tackle box even though we weren't fishing, it had a little net in it he wanted to use. It was cute!
I've got so behind! It gets crazy this time of year. Jeff and I didn't even get to celebrate our anniversary again! I was working, Open House at school. He was sick and still is so we didn't even get to go out this weekend. Hopefully, next year for our ten year will plan something special early before school starts back up! Since he was sick yesterday, they boys and I went to the park, played putt putt golf at arena golf, back to another park, ate dinner, stopped at Wal-Mart for a few things and headed home to relax before bed. It was nice to get the time with them, this week felt so rushed and crazy. Trying to get back into the swing of things is rough after a whole summer of doing whatever whenever we wanted. I will miss them dearly this week but know we have many more summers of memories ahead. And we always make it a point to have quality time with the kids throughout the school year- everyday for that matter, it's just easier in the summer when I'm off!

Cucumber Canoes at the creek
I got this idea from Family Fun mag. The boys had a great time at the creek the day before so we decided to go back and race cucumber canoes. We carved them and decorated them and off we were! We forgot water shoes and they had to get in to catch them down stream. Needless, to say without the water shoes, they both slipped and fell in today. It wasn't very hot out so we headed back home to get dry and warm after a few races.

Another lost tooth!
That makes four! And the day before he made it through getting his cavity filled. Jeff went back there with him and said it almost didn't happen. I told the ladies that after giving my child dimeral and gas to relax him I was not leaving unless that tooth was filled. And trust me I will never give my child that medicine again. He looked like he was on drugs all day and I just couldn't bare to see him like that ever again!

Camping, fishing, and boating
Camping again finally! And what a great weekend weather wise it was! We had a wonderful time together! After dinner and smores we played eye spy which was a great fun for all. The kids laughed at our silly guesses and we treasured the special family moments! We woke up and Preston was ready to fish! They cast out their lines a few times; yet, no bites. We ate breakfast and packed up camp. We were then off to the lake for the day. Austin and I got practice driving the boat. Austin drove us around a lot actually. He's getting pretty good at it and he really enjoys it. It was only about 83 degrees so when you got out of the water it felt pretty chilly. We ate lunch at the marina and headed out for more fun. Preston eventually fell asleep in my arms sitting next to me, still the sweetest thing ever even at four years old, having your baby fall asleep in your arms. They will all always be my babies. The family time this weekend was priceless!

Six Flags
WOW! was it hot outside. I think the heat index was over 100. What were we thinking? Well, we had free tickets from school that had to be used by the 9th so decided to go this weekend. After the hot train ride and a ride down thunder river we headed to the water park! Thank goodness for that! After filling up on some food in the cool van, we headed back in for more fun. By this time there was much more shade in the park and the lines were not as long so had fun until about 9:00. It was a long day we left at 10:00 that morning. Despite the heat the kids had a blast. Jeff even rode rides with them since I couldn't (he doesn't like rides). Austin's favorite, Evil Kenevil. Preston's the train that goes around the park. I did get to ride twice with him! I can't wait to next year! I will definitely take Austin back so we can ride the big rides together. I was jealous that I couldn't ride. I used to love all of those rides, I guess I will find out if at over 30 I still do!

The History Museum in Marble Hill
This was a good trip for about 40 minutes of exploration. There isn't as much there as remember! However, they boys enjoyed looking at the artifacts. We we just trying to fill out last days of summer vacation with lots of fun!
